Refusing to call anyone by his or her given name is a part of hockey culture. Knowing whether a last name requires you to add an ‘s’, an ‘er’ or a ‘y/ie’ is a skill that can’t be            taught – It’s learned in the dressing room. Here are some of the best nicknames in hockey.
