18 GTHL Grads Selected at 2018 NHL Draft
Eighteen GTHL grads were selected by 15 different NHL teams at the 2018 NHL Draft, including four alumni who were selected in the first round. Barrett Hayton of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds was the first GTHL grad selected, going fifth overall to the Arizona Coyotes. Seventeen out of the eighteen players selected have previously played in a GTHL Top Prospects game, including goaltender Alexis Gravel, who was named MVP of the 7th annual GTHL Top Prospects Game.
