GTHL announces 2nd Annual PlayStation Platinum Cup

The GTHL is proud to announce the 2nd Annual PlayStation Platinum Cup will be held from Nov. 25-27, 2016 at MasterCard Centre.  Once again, the tournament will be in support of Camp Ooch and will be hosted by the GTHL with PlayStation and the Toronto Maple Leafs as proud sponsors.

At the inaugural event in 2015, 24 teams competed across the Atom A, AA and AAA Division for the chance to hoist the PlayStation Platinum Cup.  In the end three teams were victorious: Quinte West Hawks (Atom A), Aigles de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Atom AA) and the Toronto Young Nationals (Atom AAA).

All registration fees for the event ($1,000/team) were donated to support Camp Ooch, a camp for kids with Cancer.  The $24,000 collected in registration fees and an additional $6,000 were donated by the GTHL, PlayStation and Toronto Maple Leafs for a total of $30,000 to Camp Ooch.

Please note that this year we implemented a new procedure to finalize the teams that will be included into the tournament. For more information about the event and for registration/eligibility information, please click the link below in the related links section
