- Referee Clinics – Entry Level and Re-Certification (October)
The GTHL is hosting Referee Clinics on various dates throughout October. The clinics range from entry-level referees to Level 1-6 re-certifications for experienced referees.

- Mississauga Early Bird Tournament (October 1-6)
The Mississauga Terriers are hosting the 39th annual early bird tournament once again! This ‘AA’ tournament plays host to teams from Under-10 to U18.

- GTHL ‘AA’ Regular Season Begins (October 7)
The ‘AA’ schedule kicks off on October 7 across all age groups (U10 to U18). All ‘AA’ age groups play a 34-game schedule.

- Esso GTHL Puck Drop Weekend (October 26-27)
To celebrate the start of the 2024-25 season, the GTHL, in partnership with Esso, will be hosting Esso GTHL Puck Drop Weekend at Canlan York on October 26 and 27. Regular season games will be happening on all six pads, along with fun activations all throughout the weekend!
- Canadiens Cup 2023 – Tyler Cragg Memorial (October 24-27)
The Toronto Jr. Canadiens are hosting the 42nd annual Early Bird Tournament for U13, U14, and U15 ‘AAA’ teams at Chesswood Arena and Scotiabank Pond.
