Canadian Tire U13 House League Sponsorship Program returns for 2021-2022 season

The Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) announced today the launch of the Canadian Tire U13 House League Sponsorship Program for the 2021-2022 season.

The program is a partnership between Canadian Tire and the GTHL to provide U13-level house league hockey teams with $500 in funding to assist with costs associated with playing hockey. All U13-level house league teams within the GTHL and affiliated divisions are eligible. The sponsorship is not limited to one team per association, however, may not be combined with another competing sponsor.

All participating teams will acknowledge their participation in the program through branding opportunities including wearing the Canadian Tire crest on the front of their jerseys and adopting the Canadian Tire name as a part of their team name.

Each association must submit the following items in order to receive the sponsorship funds:

  1. Completed Online Registration form – due immediately
  2. Team contact for each team (name, phone number, email)
  3. Team photograph for each team. Teams are encouraged to get creative with this. Example: Take a photo in front of your local Canadian Tire Store, holding up a sign, etc.
  4. An invoice for the GTHL from your association for the total sponsorship amount. For example: Five teams = 5 x $500 = $2,500
  5. Distribute the Image Consent form to all parents/guardians on each team

Item #1 is due immediately (first 140 teams will be accepted). Items #2-5 above are due no later than December 15, 2021.
