Coach 1 and Coach 2 clinics now open for registration

The Hockey Canada Coach 1 and Hockey Canada Coach 2 clinics are now open for registration.

Traditionally the Coach 1 and Coach 2 clinics have been conducted in-person, however, this year marks an exciting shift to online learning as Hockey Canada introduces the Hockey Canada Learning Lab, phasing out the previous Hockey University framework.

Coaches that require the Coach 1 or Coach 2 clinic will note they have the option to complete an age specific module at the end of the clinic. Each individual that requires the clinic will need to complete their age appropriate module. For example:

  • An Under-10 or U11 coach, would need to complete the Hockey Canada Coach 2 training and complete the U11 Pathway Module
  • A U12 or U13 coach would need to complete the Hockey Canada Coach 2 training and complete the U13 Pathway Module

To register and for more information, please visit the GTHL Bench Staff Requirements page.

Please note coaches that have previously attended a Coach Level 1 or Coach Level 2 clinic prior to the 2024-25 season will not need to repeat this clinic.
