GTHL is seeking Series Chairs for upcoming 2024-2025 season

The Greater Toronto Hockey League is looking to add Series Chairs for the 2024-2025 season.

The role of the Series Chair representative is to follow a specific age group while observing and reporting items to the League, including style of play and concerns from teams. The Series Chair will follow the age group through until the conclusion of the season, standing in for the respective trophy presentations and accompanying teams that qualify to the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) and/or Hockey Canada Championships. This position is suited for individuals who love the sport of hockey and who want to use their hockey experience to improve the overall GTHL experience for players, parents, coaches, and officials.

The Series Chair will report to the GTHL and will be required to submit reports including, but not limited to, the following items:

  • Game play
  • Arena observations
  • Feedback gathered from teams on any concerns or suggestions for improvement

Series Chairs are to begin the season with an introduction before a game, providing a GTHL business card to the teams. Introductions will be brief and will not interfere with the teams’ preparation for their game. Series Chairs are provided a GTHL jacket.

If becoming a GTHL Series Chair is of interest, please contact Peter Kourtis at pkourtis@gthlcanada.com, including a short resume. This position is provided with a small honouraim for the season to cover expenses.
