Toronto (Thursday, December 29, 2016) – The members of this family perished in a fire at the family cottage on Saturday, December 23, 2016. Geoff was the volunteer Team manager for the Forest Hill Minor Midget A team, his son Scott played on that same team, while Andrew played for the Toronto Titans Minor Bantam AAA team.

“This family was very involved in the GTHL for many years and the entire GTHL community is mourning the loss of these wonderful people,” said GTHL Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer Scott Oakman. “This family had relationships built over the years that extended well beyond the teams the boys played on and this family will be missed immensely.”

The Toronto Titans Minor Bantam AAA team honoured the family prior to their game at the Toronto Marlboros Holiday Classic Tournament.
