The Greater Toronto Hockey League and the Ontario Hockey League’s (OHL) Mississauga Steelheads teamed up for a GTHL Game Day on Monday, February 20.

All GTHL clubs and teams had the opportunity to purchase tickets to watch the Steelheads host the Saginaw Spirit at Paramount Fine Foods Centre on Family Day. The tickets were sold at a fundraising rate, with a portion of every ticket sold in support of You Can Play and the GTHL Legacy Fund. The game also featured chuck-a-puck during the intermission.

Over 130 GTHL players and families took in the game as former Mississauga Senator Michael Misa and the Spirit took home a 3-1 win over brother Luke Misa and the Steelheads.

Teams who sold the most tickets had the chance to win a Steelheads’ Game Day Experience. The Under-10 and U11 Mississauga Senators came out on top as winners of both the Flag Program and Breakaway Challenge experiences.
