The Greater Toronto Hockey League, in partnership with Nothers The Award Store, is proud to introduce the Nothers House League Team of the Month program for the 2023-24 season.

The Nothers House League Team of the Month program will give house league teams throughout the GTHL the opportunity to enter for a chance to win a monthly prize provided by Nothers The Award Store. The program is open to house league teams of all ages.

“We are thrilled to introduce the Nothers Team of the Month program. This program celebrates the GTHL values that lie at the core of our shared passion for the game,” Jim Nother, President of Nothers The Award Store, shared. “At Nothers, we understand that hockey extends far beyond the rink. It embodies values that inspire and shape not only the players but also the entire hockey community. These values, instilled by the GTHL, are more than just rules of the game; they represent the heart and soul of our beloved sport.”

The Nothers House League Team of the Month program strives to recognize and celebrate strong values in action in local hockey communities across the Greater Toronto Area. It’s an opportunity for GTHL members to nominate their teams who exemplify the spirit of hockey and its core values. The program is looking for stories of teamwork, sportsmanship, perseverance, and community engagement that demonstrate the true essence of the game.

“We look forward to your enthusiastic participation in this exciting campaign and the opportunity to celebrate the essence of hockey as a united GTHL community,” Nother concluded.

The winning team will be announced on the first Tuesday of the following month (ex: October’s Team of the Month will be announced on the first Tuesday in November).
