The GTHL is seeking applicants for this exciting opportunity to work in Hockey.
Position Title: Coordinator, League Schedule (Seasonal)

Reports to: Manager, Hockey Operations
League Description: The GTHL is a Not-for-Profit Organization that is the largest amateur hockey league in the world. There are over 40,000 children registered annually in the GTHL.
Reporting: Reporting to the Manager of Hockey Operations, the Coordinator, League Schedule is accountable for the Scheduling of the GTHL’s 10,000 hockey games, Founders Cup and the King Clancy Tournament. The successful applicant will work closely with other team members and report to the MANAGER of HOCKEY OPERATIONS to ensure that the Hockey Operations of the GTHL are optimized and to ensure that GTHL’s Game Schedules, Officiating Assignments and League Discipline are carried out in an efficient manner.
Special Requirements – This position involves a considerable amount of evening and weekend hours of work to ensure that the Hockey Operations of the League are optimized.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. League and Playoff Schedule
Ø Coordinate and Schedule 8000 + League Games.
Ø Coordinate and Schedule 2000 + Playoff Games.
2. Tournament Approvals
Ø Process and administer GTHL Team Tournament Participation Sanctioning Forms.
3. King Clancy and Founders Cup Tournament
Ø Coordinate and Schedule games for the King Clancy and Founders Cup Tournament with the Manager, Membership Services.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ø Provide support to overall office and Hockey Operations.
Ø Cataloguing of Game Records.
Position Specifications:
Education:
1. Recommended post-secondary diploma or degree in Sport Administration or related discipline.
Experience:
1. 1-3 years administrative in an association environment.
2. Experience or involvement in Sports Management and/or experience working with a Not-for-Profit Organization.

1. Strong organizational skills an absolute necessity
