Toronto (August 19, 2010) – The Greater Toronto Hockey (GTHL) today announced that it has awarded former Vice-President Alf Johnston Life Membership status.
Mr. Johnston became involved in hockey in 1980 with the Mississauga Hockey League. He was President of the Mississauga Hockey League from 1995 to 1998. He was first elected to the GTHL Board of Directors in 1998 and served as 3rd Vice-President in 1999-2000, 2nd Vice-President from 2000-2002 and served as 1st Vice-President from 2002-2005 and then again from 2006-2010. He was elected to the OHF Board of Directors as 2nd Vice-President in June of 2010.
