GTHL Officiating Clinics

To officiate hockey games within Hockey Canada, you must become a certified official. To obtain certification, you must be at least 14 years of age and attend an eight (8) hour Hockey Canada Officiating Program (HCOP) clinic. Every season, this must be repeated.

HCOP clinics are designed to optimize the instructional experience in an informative and enjoyable manner, taking into consideration an official’s experience and current HCOP level. Within the GTHL we offer four types of clinics.
