GTHL Playoffs Roundup: Mar. 3-10
Seven GTHL categories are down to the GTHL Championship series, including the Minor Midget AAA and Midget AAA age groups where teams are competing ahead of the OHL Cup and OHF Central Region Championship, respectively.

Minor Midget AAA
The Don Mills Flyers and Toronto Marlboros continue to wage a highly competitive series, with each team posting one win and four ties through six games. After a 16-day layoff for the 2015 Canada Games – where 11 GTHL members won a gold medal – the Flyers have rallied to take a 7-5 series lead.

They will clinch the title with just one point in Game 7 on Friday at Scotiabank Pond (8:00 p.m.); otherwise the teams will return to the building on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. for the eighth and deciding game.

Midget AAA
With the Toronto Young Nationals hosting the 2015 Midget AAA Central Region Championship, they and the Don Mills Flyers already have punched their tickets to the provincial final. That said, they are battling it out in the GTHL Championship series, with the Flyers holding a 3-1 lead.
