The Ontario Coaching Excellence Awards aim to recognize the outstanding achievements and significant contributions coaches have made to both their sport and athletes in Ontario. The selection of recipients was based on their unique contribution to sport through continuous development. The awards do not reflect the accomplishments of a coach in any one-year; rather the award is designed to recognize the contributions a coach has made over a period of years.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 3 years coaching in Ontario
- Must reside and coach in the province of Ontario
- Nominee must have made a significant contribution to their sport/community/athletes
Nomination Process
All complete nomination forms, and any supporting documents (i.e. letters of reference, news articles, etc.) must be received by Friday, December 10, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. All e-mailed nominations will be confirmed. Click here to nominate your coach online.
