Titans take “5,000 Puck Challenge”

The Peewee AAA Toronto Titans took the “5,000 Puck Challenge” in an effort to raise money for SickKids Foundation.

Each team member committed to taking 5,000 shots and gather as many pledges as possible to support the annual Titans Give Back Day. The “5,000 Puck Challenge” was a tremendous success and raised close to $4,000 for the SickKids Foundation, with 100% team participation.

Last week the Titans presented the cheque to Lisa Walker of the SickKids Foundation and also delivered teddy bears for kids at the hospital.

Titans Give Back Day is an annual day of community service in line with the club’s mission statement of pursuing the development of youth not solely as hockey players, but as well-rounded citizens.
