Below are some submissions from GTHL teams thus far:

“We’re heading to a tournament in Orillia tomorrow, November 7th, and many of us will be staying at the Best Western. We look forward to lots of hockey and sampling treats on the ‘Butter Tart Trail” of Canada!’” – Jim W.

“Tonight our team begins its ‘giving back’ activity for the year! Last year we sent cards of hope and joy to our troops overseas, this year we are collecting used hockey equipment for the children of the Chippewa of Nawash near Wiarton, Ontario. We have asked other teams and friends and families to search their garages and basements for any equipment, which may help the Nawash children begin to fulfill their own hockey drams! We will hopefully fill the trucks and visit them before the New Year!” – Steve P.

“Our fun on the road was last month in the Nation’s capital, Ottawa. We had a blast – great bonding and fantastic team building. Our team was together the entire tournament. Our most memorable moment, considering the tragic event to Cpl. Cirillo, was a team photo we have on Parliament Hill. We look forward to sharing this picture with the country.” – Angie D.

“Before the game, the goalie had a surprise in his helmet bag. His helmet was wrapped with the team logo and he had no clue. He was very surprise and the whole team enjoyed the moment.” – Steve T.
