The Greater Toronto Hockey League, in partnership with the Ontario Hockey League, has launched a 50/50 draw for the 2023 OHL Cup. Proceeds from the 50/50 will be in support of the You Can Play and the GTHL’s Legacy Fund.
The 50/50 begins ahead of the Wild Card match-ups on Tuesday, March 28 at 12:00pm and will close following the Championship Final on Monday, April 3 at 11:59pm.
The draw for the winner will take place on Tuesday, April 4 at 12:00pm.
Tickets can be purchased both in-person and online at OHLCup5050.ca throughout the OHL Cup. Those attending all games leading up to the Championship Final will have the opportunity to purchase in-person at Scotiabank Pond. All those attending the Championship Final on April 3 will also have the opportunity to purchase in-person at Mattamy Athletic Centre.
The You Can Play Project, a partner of the GTHL, works to ensure the safety and inclusion for all who participate in sports, including LGBTQ+ athletes, coaches, and fans. You Can Play achieves this by creating a community of allies that is able to foster a true sense of belonging. This becomes possible when sports teams sharpen the focus on the person’s skills, work ethic, and competitive spirit, not their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
The GTHL Legacy Fund, established in 2011, provides financial support for GTHL families in need.
