The Greater Toronto Hockey League, in partnership with the Ontario Hockey League, hosted a 50/50 draw for the 2024 OHL Cup spanning March 25-30.
The winning ticket, drawn on April 1, is A-8267099. The winner will take home a prize of $1,340.
The winner is to contact contact Shaun Filippelli via SFilippelli@gthlcanada.com.
Proceeds from the 50/50 are in support of the You Can Play and the GTHL’s Legacy Fund.
The You Can Play Project, a partner of the GTHL, works to ensure the safety and inclusion for all who participate in sports, including LGBTQ+ athletes, coaches, and fans. You Can Play achieves this by creating a community of allies that is able to foster a true sense of belonging. This becomes possible when sports teams sharpen the focus on the person’s skills, work ethic, and competitive spirit, not their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
The GTHL established the Legacy Fund in 2011 in an effort to help families in financial need who cannot afford the costs of minor hockey participation, and to assist organizations in funding hockey programs with a focus on child and community development.
