Two former GTHL officials selected for Hockey Canada’s Officiating Program of Excellence

Two former Greater Toronto Hockey League officials have been selected to participate in Hockey Canada’s Officiating Program of Excellence (OPOE) in Oakville. The summer camp, featuring Matt Boulby and Damian Figueira, takes place July 20 to July 23 in Oakville. It will be held in conjunction with Hockey Canada’s Men’s Under-17 Evaluation Camp, including classroom learning, on-ice sessions, and game assignments with coaching for the participating officials.

Classroom sessions cover the principles of play, IIHF rules review, competing as teammates, event preparation and success, optimizing performance, and more.

The GTHL congratulates Matt Boulby and Damian Figueira on the selection.
