A big tournament weekend didn’t stop teams from shuffling up the standings. See who to watch out for going into December.
Minor Atom AAA
The first place Jr. Canadiens (14-1-0) added two more points to their impressive run after recording a win at the expense of the third place Mississauga Senators (10-3-0). The Jr. Canadiens only loss this season has come at the hand of the second place Toronto Marlboros (13-1-0) who remain a game back. It will be a tight race going down the stretch as the Marlboros haven’t lost a game since late September. Teams should keep a watchful eye on the fourth place Toronto Titans (7-5-2) who have gone 5-1-0 in their last six.

Minor Bantam AA
The Humber Valley Sharks (13-2-4) added two points to their record this weekend, tying the Ice Warriors for second in the West. Only three points stand between the second place teams and the first place Mississauga North Stars (15-1-3) after 19 games played. The Mississauga Terriers (14-3-0) also had a successful weekend, extending their winning streak to five games after a 13-0 win over the Duffield Devils on Sunday.
In the East, the first place Ted Reeve Thunder (15-0-3) recorded a 7-2 win against the Scarborough Young Bruins, allowing them to gain a five-point lead over the second place Goulding Park Rangers (12-1-4). Teams should keep a watchful eye on the third place York Mills (12-3-3) squad who have won seven straight, including a 2-0 win over the Toronto Aeros on Saturday.

U21 AAA
All five GTHL U21 teams were in action over the weekend, with the Mississauga Braves (11-2-1) retaining their first place position after a tie with the Scarborough Young Bruins. The second place Toronto Colts (10-1-0) improved their record significantly after two back-to-back wins. They now sit three points back of first with three games in hand over the first place Braves.
