MIDGET “A” ALL-STAR GAME
FINAL: Team GTHL 7, Team MHL 6
The testy tilt between Team GTHL and Team MHL was fast and fiery right from puck drop.
Heartland Dragon’s forward Jake Difonzo opened the scoring for Team MHL halfway through the first, but Team GTHL was quick to respond, scoring three straight in the last three minutes of the first period. Mere seconds into the second, Team MHL would reduce Team GTHL’s lead to one. A swift response by Team GTHL would put them up 6-3 heading into the third.
Despite three third period goals, Team MHL’s rally would come up just short as North York Knights’ Michael Kagan netted one with a minute left to play, solidifying a victory for Team GTHL.

MIDGET “AA” ALL-STAR GAME
FINAL: Team Blue 3, Team Red 4
Down 3-0 midway through the second period, Team Red started to put things into high gear, sending out the “North Toronto” line, made up of Matis Robinson, Macallan King, and James Ellement. Having played together since Minor Novice, the chemistry between the three was evident as Robinson netted the first goal for Team Red off an assist from Ellement.
The line would account for three of four Team Red goals, including the game winner. Comeback mission accomplished.
