Midget All-Star Preview: “AA” Game

The Midget “AA” All-Star game will mark the last (but not least) of Midget All-Star Festival games for 2018. Forty players across two teams will take to the ice Tuesday, February 6 at Scotiabank Pond for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.

The division-leading  Ted Reeve Thunder (25.-2-0) will have a game-high seven players dressed, followed by the second-place Humberview Huskies (21-5-1) who will have six players represented. The Thunder are currently in the midst of attempting to defend their title as regular season and Scotiabank GTHL Playoff champs. Players participating in the event were selected by the coaches in their division. The coaching staff was selected based on standings as of late December.

The Midget All-Star Festival is an opportunity for players to celebrate their time spent in minor hockey. For some, playing organized hockey has been their lifestyle since they can remember.
