Top Prospects by the Numbers

We can only guess what the future may hold for the player’s participating in this year’s GTHL Top Prospects Game, but if history is any indication, they all have a good chance of playing competitive hockey beyond the Minor Midget level.

In its eight years of existence, the GTHL Top Prospects Game has spawned 15 NHL players, while 48 have been drafted to the big show. The numbers will only grow with time as many alumni are not yet NHL draft eligible. Graduates of the 2014 event will be NHL draft eligible this coming summer, while many who played in the 2015 event are only just starting their junior hockey careers.

Based on eight years of Top Prospects Alumni, here is a breakdown of where players have ended up.

*Based on approximately 300 Alumni
