Whether or not they walked away with hardware, all 24 teams competing in the PlayStation Platinum Cup left the MasterCard Centre with some great memories. On the ice the competition was fierce, while off of it, players were busy meeting with Leafs greats and practicing their PlayStation skills. See which teams were just as good on the ice as they were in the virtual world.
Atom A
With identical regular season records headed into the tournament, it would be the Quinte West Hawks and Vaughan Panthers who would remain undefeated in the round-robin. Their dominance carried over into the elimination rounds, with the two teams going head-to-head in the gold medal matchup. A single goal in the championship final would be all it took for Quinte to capture gold over the Panthers.

Atom AA
Round-robin results were not at all reflective of championship competition in the Atom AA division.
With a 3-0 round-robin record, the London Jr. Knights were stunned in the quarter-finals by a winless Burlington Eagles squad. Despite going 0-3 in the round-robin, the Eagles soared to the championship final against the Don Mills Mustangs. A 4-0 loss to the Mustangs would earn the Eagles a silver medal. Perseverance at its best.

Atom AAA
The Halton Hurricanes and Toronto Titans came out as the kings of the round-robin after both going undefeated. A quarter-final loss would knock the Hurricanes out of contention, leaving the Titans to continue their tear through the tournament.
The Kanata Blazers entered the championship final against the Titans searching for redemption after a round-robin matchup resulted in a 5-2 Titans victory. Through a hard fought battle, the Blazers would settle for silver against a rock solid Titans crew.
