44 GTHL alumni set to compete in 2024 NHL Playoffs

The puck dropped on the 2024 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs on April 20 with a total of 44 Greater Toronto Hockey League alumni beginning their quest for the Stanley Cup.

On day three of the NHL Playoffs, John Tavares (Toronto Marlboros), Mitch Marner (Don Mills Flyers), Max Domi (Don Mills Flyers) and the Toronto Maple Leafs look to bounce back from their Game 1 loss to the Boston Bruins. In the Metropolitan Division, Brent Burns (North York Jr. Canadiens) and the Carolina Hurricanes will be pushing for a second win over Casey Cizikas (Mississauga IceDogs), Bo Horvat (Toronto Red Wings), and the New York Islanders. 

In the West, with seven GTHL alumni, the Dallas Stars begin their series versus Alex Pietrangelo (Toronto Jr. Canadiens) and the Vegas Golden Knights, while the puck drops between the Edmonton Oilers, with a leading-eight GTHL alumni, and the Los Angeles Kings.
