Toronto Mayor John Tory Sits Down With GTHL President Don West

Toronto Mayor and GTHL grad John Tory took time out of his busy schedule to speak with GTHL President Don West to discuss minor hockey in the city, the impact of COVID, and the upcoming holidays.

“Hockey is a mainstay of our Canadian existence and have hope,” emphasized Tory. “Things will return to normal. Hockey is too much of who we are to be defeated by a virus.”

Tory emphasized the importance of hockey in the mental well being of children and is confident that people will be returning to arenas in the Greater Toronto Area in the future.
