Duffield Devils and Vaughan Rangers give back to community

The Duffield Devils Under-10, U11, and U12 teams, along with the Vaughan Rangers U9 team, have gotten into the holiday spirit, giving back to their local communities this season.

On November 28, the Devils teams participated in the annual TTC Stuff the Bus event. Each family donated one unwrapped toy for underprivileged children. Between the three teams, the Devils were able to donate over 100 toys.

The Vaughan Rangers white U9 team collected food for the Vaughan Food Bank, hand delivering their donation of six boxes filled with nonperishable items as a team. The Rangers received a tour of the facility, getting the opportunity to see firsthand where the team’s donation will be going and how far their support will go in the community.

The Rangers are also working on a toy drive contribution to be donated the weekend of December 11-12.
