U11 Mississauga Rebels sponsor family ahead of holidays

The Under-11 Mississauga Rebels traded in helmets for Santa hats ahead of the holidays this year, choosing to do some good away from the rink.

The Rebels sponsored a family a five for the holiday season, crossing off all the wishes, wants, and asks on the list.

“Our kids are lucky enough to play a high-level of hockey, yet [there are others] who struggle with basic needs,” Renee Glorioso, mom of U11 Rebel, Matteo, shared. “It’s times like these you see how some people struggle and you want to help them have a wonderful holiday season.”

“The [team] was so proud to drop off all of the Wishlist items at Santa’s Workshop,” Glorioso continued.

The U11 Rebels extend a gracious thank-you to Holiday Helpers for helping organize a family for the team, as well as wishing the GTHL community a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
