GTHL welcomes Spordle as League’s official tournament platform

TORONTO, ONThe Greater Toronto Hockey League is excited to announce a two-year partnership with Spordle Inc., Canada’s leader in sports technology solutions. This partnership is designed to enhance the GTHL’s tournament management.

The partnership will leverage Spordle’s Play platform, an integrated solution seamlessly connected with the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR), which is also powered by Spordle. This integration ensures streamlined data flow between the GTHL, participants, and Hockey Canada, while enabling advanced data analytics for informed decision-making at every level of the organization.

As part of the partnership, Spordle will also become the title sponsor of the GTHL Legacy Classic golf tournament. The GTHL Legacy Classic to be presented by Spordle is an annual fundraising event for the GTHL Legacy Fund. Established in 2011, the Legacy Fund provides financial support for GTHL families in need and assists organizations in funding hockey programs with a focus on child and community development.

“The GTHL is thrilled to partner with Spordle,” said Scott Oakman, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the GTHL. “Enhancing the customer experience is at the core of everything we do, and this collaboration marks a significant step forward in achieving that goal.”

Key Aspects of the Partnership:

  • Tournament Management: The partnership will focus on the utilization of the Spordle Play platform for key League events, as determined by the GTHL.
  • Integrated Efficiency: Spordle Play connects directly with the HCR, powered by Spordle iD, ensuring real-time data synchronization while providing detailed analytics to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Enhanced Insights: The partnership empowers the GTHL to analyze operational data, helping leaders optimize processes and improve the overall hockey experience.

“We are proud to partner with the GTHL, an organization committed to innovation and excellence,” Spordle CEO, Lyno T. Cote, added. “Through this partnership, Spordle will deliver the tools needed to streamline operations, foster growth, and provide actionable insights through advanced data analytics.”
