Despite York Mills placing second in the division, they failed to defeat their first round opponent Forest Hill during the regular season. The two teams will go head-to-head starting on Wednesday at 6:10 p.m. at Scarborough Centennial.

The Humber Valley Sharks are 1-0-1 against the Mississauga Terriers on the season, with the Sharks winning by a lone goal in their only victory against the Terriers. It will be a hard-fought first round battle between the third and sixth place teams to start the playoffs.

THE BATTLE CONTINUES
Bantam AAA – Round 1 | Firs to eight points
The post-season battle got underway Sunday night with some early surprises. The fifth place North York Rangers defeated the fourth place Mississauga Rebels to take an early series lead. The seventh seed Don Mills Flyers put up a fight against the Toronto Marlboros, but ultimately fell one goal short to lose their first of the series. The Marlboros are 3-0 against the Flyers this season.

Minor Midget AAA – Round 1 | First to eight points
The underdogs have come out strong in the race to eight, with the lower seed dominating three out of the four series’. As reigning Scotiabank GTHL Playoff Champions, the fifth seed Mississauga Rebels put on an impressive performance, going undefeated against the fourth place Mississauga Senators. The Rebels will play the winner of the Toronto Young Nationals and Jr. Canadiens series.
The Toronto Marlboros are waiting to see who they’ll face in the second round after knocking out the Toronto Titans in five games. The Marlboros will face the winner of the series between the Mississauga Reps and the Vaughan Kings. A win for the Kings on Tuesday would buy them a date with the Marlboros.
