After missing the playoffs in 2016-17, see which team now sits first place in their division.
Atom AA
A weekend loss to the Goulding Park Rangers (5-6-1) didn’t hurt the first place North York Knights (9-1-1) in the standings. The loss was the reigning regular season champs’ first of the season as they sit a point ahead of the West Hill Golden Hawks (8-3-2) with two games in hand. Teams should keep an eye on North Toronto (8-1-1) who won back-to-back games over the weekend. They have now won six straight.
Friday marked the third straight shutout and eighth straight win for the first place Toros (9-0-1). After winning it all last year, the Toros show no signs of slowing down. The Humber Valley Sharks (7-3-1), who have been the only team to phase the Toros, added to the win column on Sunday, winning their fourth straight game. The Sharks remain four points behind the first place Toros.

Minor Peewee AAA
After winning the OHF Championships last year as the top Atom AAA team in the province, the Mississauga Senators (11-0-1) have carried over their success into the Minor Peewee season. The Sens recorded their tenth win in 11 games on Friday after a 6-4 victory over the Toronto Red Wings (4-5-2). The second place Jr. Canadiens (9-2-0) recorded their ninth win of the season on Sunday after a 6-2 victory over the third place Toronto Marlboros (8-2-1). The Marlies now sit a single point behind the second place spot.

Vaughan Kings 4, North York Rangers 1
Markham Majors 0, Toronto Red Wings 1
Bantam A
After failing to make the Scotiabank GTHL Playoffs last season, the Forest Hill Force (9-0-1) are undefeated in 2017-18 campaign. Before their Saturday tilt against the Hillcrest Canadiens (2-6-3) ended in a tie, the Force had won nine straight. The Force will meet reigning division champions, the Don Mills Mustangs (9-2-0), on Tuesday.
In the West, the Duffield Devils (7-0-2) remain the lone undefeated team after a 1-0 weekend win over the Vaughan Rangers (6-4-1). After missing out on the post-season in 2016-17, the Greater Toronto Capitals (7-2-1) sit one-point back of the first place Devils after a Sunday victory against the Toronto Royals (3-6-2). If the trend continues, the Bantam A division could have an unexpected champion for 2017-18.
