Around the G: Sept. 30-Oct. 2

The first weekend of October was jam packed full of GTHL action across all divisions, with over 200 games on the schedule.

Minor Atom AAA

The first place Jr. Canadiens (4-0-0, 8 points) were given a rest over the weekend, giving the Toronto Marlboros (3-1-0, 6 points) the opportunity to move into second place with a 3-0 victory over the Toronto Red Wings.

The middle-of-the-pack Don Mills Flyers also improved their record to 2-1-1 after recording a 4-4 tie against the Vaughan Kings, followed by a 4-2 win over the Markham Majors.

The division remains tight, with six teams – Don Mills Flyers (2-1-1, 5 points), Vaughan Kings (2-1-1, 5 points), Mississauga Senators (3-2-0, 6 points), Toronto Young Nationals (3-1-0, 6 points), Toronto Marlboros (3-1-0, 6 points), and Jr. Canadiens (4-0-0, 8 points) – all recording five or more points after four or more games.
