Encountering early playoff elimination or missing the playoffs all together doesn’t mean your hockey season has to end. The King Clancy Cup and the Founders Cup give teams the opportunity to start their season from scratch.
King Clancy Cup
Named after former the Toronto Maple Leaf and Stanley Cup Champion, the 2016-17 King Clancy Cup will mark the 80th rendition of the tournament.
The King Clancy Cup is open to non-playoff A teams from the GTHL and MHL, as well as non-playoff AA and AAA teams from the GTHL from Minor Atom to Midget.

Founders Cup
The Founders Cup is open to GTHL and MHL A, AA and AAA teams eliminated from the first round of the playoffs. Within one week of elimination, teams will be able to start their quest for the Founders Cup.

NOTE: The Founders Cup and King Clancy Cup are separate tournaments, therefore teams cannot crossover between the two.
