The 2022 OHL Cup powered by Under Armour will feature the top 20 Under-16 ‘AAA’ teams from Ontario and the United States. The showcase will run from March 30 to April 4, with all games being played at the Scotiabank Pond in Toronto. The Championship Final moves to the Mattamy Athletic Centre on Monday, April 4.

Fifteen teams will be guaranteed a spot in the showcase, with a Wild Card play-in determining the remaining five teams. Ten teams will take part in a one-game, “win and you’re in” match-up prior to the start of the OHL Cup on Tuesday, March 29.

The GTHL and the OHL will host a live Selection Show on Monday, March 28 at 6pm to determine the match-ups and the home/away seeding for the Wild Card play-in. The Selection Show will feature a random draw with GTHL General Manager Peter Kourtis and Kyle Pereira, the OHL’s Director of Player Recruitment. The Selection Show will be hosted on the GTHL’s official Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/gthlhockey.

The five winning teams from the Wild Card play-in match-ups will advance to the OHL Cup.
