GALLERY: Whitefish River First Nation X GTHL Exchange (Toronto)

On November 4-5, Whitefish River First Nation and the GTHL’s Scarborough Hockey Association Under-11 Select team participated in the first leg of a home-and-home exchange program.

The weekend featured youth from Whitefish River First Nation aged nine through to 13 years old of various skill levels visiting Toronto. The weekend included on-ice sessions, watching a Toronto Maple Leafs practice, a dressing room tour at Scotiabank Arena, visiting the Hockey Hall of Fame, and learning about fitness and nutrition. The teams also got to spend time with former NHL Coach of the Year and Co-Founder of the 3Nolans, Ted Nolan, and sons, retired NHL players, Brandon and Jordan Nolan.
