Hockey Canada U17 Invitees

Hockey Canada announced Tuesday the players invited to the National Teams’ Summer Showcase.  Amongst the announced selections, which includes the invitees for the HC U18 and U20 (National World Junior Team) were those players invited to the U17 camp.

66 Players will be selected from the 111 invitees to compete on one of three (3) National Teams – Black, White and Red – while participating at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge taking place in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John B.C. October 30 to November 7, 2015.

It is with great pride to announce that of the 111 players selected for this year’s camp, 19 players will represent the Greater Toronto Hockey League!

All players selected for the National Camp were chosen from the OHL Gold Cup.  The OHL Gold Cup tournament is being held to not only showcase Ontario’s top U16 talent, but it is an evaluation opportunity for Hockey Canada to select potential player’s for Canada’s 3 teams that will compete in the World U-17 Challenge.
