On Saturday, January 27, the ‘AAA’ All-Stars capped off the 22nd annual Under-18 All-Star Festival fuelled by Gatorade at Scotiabank Pond. Before the ‘AAA’ All-Stars hit the ice, the U18 ‘AA’ All-Stars and ‘A’ All-Stars faced off in lopsided affairs.
The ‘AAA’ match-up proved to be the tightest contest of the day, with Team Red holding on to win in a 4-3 final.
Hudson Armstrong (Mississauga Senators) received Gatorade Performer of the Game honours after scoring the game-winining goal for Team Red.
For Team Blue, Jack Dinsmore (Toronto Marlboros) earned the Gatorade Performer of the Game.

The back-and-forth action started right off the hop in the opening frame as Team Blue opened the scoring with a marker from Mars Sun (Reps Hockey Club). Off the ensuing face-off, Team Red stormed down the ice as Peter Saroglou (Mississauga Senators) finished things off to tie the game up at one-a-piece. Dougie Mitchell (Vaughan Kings) restored the lead for Team Blue, giving the blue shirts a 2-1 lead heading into the second period.
In the middle frame, Callum Mainville (Toronto Titans) scored for Team Red to knot things up at two. Team Blue showed no quit, however, as Braeden Van Gelder (Mississauga Rebels) scored to retake the 3-2 lead.
Late in the period, Markos Saroglou (Mississauga Senators) scored for Team Red to make it a 3-3 game heading into the third.
The final period saw more back-and-forth action at both ends until Armstrong jumped on a loose puck in the slot and wired home the game-winning goal for Team Red.
