The matinee match-up of the 22nd annual Under-18 All-Star Festival featured the ‘AA’ All-Stars on Saturday, January 27 at Scotiabank Pond. The ‘AA’ All-Stars faced off following the U18 ‘A’ All-Star Game. For the complete ‘A’ All-Star recap, click here.
The ‘AA’ All-Star Game saw Team Red dominate the scoresheet, defeating Team Blue 8-1.
Kaleb Lyttleton (Markham Islanders) was named the Gatorade Performer of the Game for Team Red, recording two goals and one assist.
Team Blue’s Gatorade Performer of the Game was Jonathan Cruz (Mississauga Rattlers) after netting the team’s only goal.

In the first, Team Red jumped out to a 3-0 lead courtesy of a trio of goals from Markham Islanders Pav Sialtsis, Lyttleton, and Stefano Puorro.
Team Red tacked on two more goals to their lead in the middle frame, with Antonio Buffone (Duffield Devils) potting two goals of his own. Before the end of the second, Cruz put Team Blue on the scoreboard with their lone goal of the game.
Team Red capped off their victory with three more goals in the third period. Goal scorers were Michael Colacci (Markham Islanders), Sialtsis, and Lyttleton.
