The 22nd annual Under-18 All-Star Festival fuelled by Gatorade hit the ice on Saturday, January 27, starting with the U18 ‘A’ All-Stars in a morning match-up.
To begin the all-star festivities, goaltenders Cameron Benninger (Erindale Spitfires) and Andrew McHardy (Leaside Flames) were welcomed to centre ice to participate in the ceremonial puck drop.

Team Blue came out ready right from puck drop, defeating Team Red in a commanding 8-0 final.
Yonas Nicola-Lalonde (Humber Valley Sharks) recorded one goal and one assist for Team Blue, earning Gatorade Performer of the Game honours.
For Team Red, McHardy was named the Gatorade Performer of the Game after only giving up one goal against in his period of work.

Phillip Chu (Applewood Coyotes) opened the scoring for Team Blue with the lone goal of the first period.
Team Blue continued firing into the middle frame with goals from Nicola-Lalonde, Benjamin Swartz (North Toronto), Matthew Little (Forest Hill), and Lawrence Grossman (Forest Hill).
The third period saw added markers from Ian Carvalho (Forest Hill), Marco Macchione (Vaughan Rangers), and Jonas Hong (Toronto Shamrocks).
