GTHL Hosts Successful 2025 ‘A’ Challenge Cup at Scotiabank Pond

From November 14–16, the Greater Toronto Hockey League proudly hosted the 2025 ‘A’ Challenge Cup at Scotiabank Pond. The weekend brought together great energy and competitiveness of ‘A’ hockey across Ontario.

This year’s event welcomed 39 teams competing across five non-contact divisions from Under-14 to U18. Representing the ALLIANCE, GTHL, Mississauga Hockey League (MHL), and Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA), teams showcased exceptional effort and sportsmanship from start to finish.

The GTHL extends gracious thanks to the support of Gatorade and the Hockey Hall of Fame, who provided all attending teams special gifting to share with their athletes. Spordle was also on-site throughout the weekend, engaging with participants and supporting tournament operations.

The GTHL extends its congratulations to all 2025 ‘A’ Challenge Cup medalists, and thanks every team, coach, and family for contributing to a memorable weekend of competition and fun.
