The Toronto Royals captured the GTHL Under-18 A Championship with a five-game series win over the North York Knights.
The Royals struck first with a 4-0 victory in Game 1 before the Knights answered with a 4-2 win in Game 2. In Game 3, the Royals reclaimed the series lead with a 3-2 victory, and after a 2-2 tie in Game 4, the Royals sealed the championship with 7-2 win in Game 5.
