The Toronto Marlboros were crowned GTHL Under-10 AAA Champions with a 5-1 victory over the Vaughan Kings in Game 5.
The Kings struck first with a 4-0 win in Game 1, but the Marlboros answered with ties in Games 2 and 3 before breaking through with a 3-0 victory in Game 4. The Marlboros then closed out the series in emphatic fashion with a 5-1 win in Game 5 to secure the championship.
