Apply: U18 GTHL-Dairy Farmers of Ontario Bursary

The Dairy Farmers of Ontario Bursary reflects the achievements of young hockey players who are committed to their community, athletic ability, and academic achievement. New for the 2025-26 season, the GTHL is proud to partner with Dairy Farmers of Ontario through a bursary program which awards two U18 GTHL players with $5,000 each for their outstanding commitment to:

  • Academics: showing dedication to school, achieving strong grades and being a leader in school activities.
  • Community service: contributing to the wellbeing of local communities through volunteer work and extracurricular activities.
  • Athletics: demonstrating strong performance and growth in hockey, along with a passion for the game of hockey and sporting community.

Eligibility: Any player at the U18 level from the GTHL or Mississauga Hockey League (House League, Select, or Competitive) are encouraged to apply and/or can be nominated.

  • One page letter outlining request (summary of application, community involvement, hockey experience, academics, extracurriculars, etc.)

  • Supporting letter from one of the following: coach, association, or school teacher
