Apply: Len Barrett U18 House League Scholarship Award

Established in 2005, the Len Barrett U18 House League Scholarship Award recognizes a U18 House League Player who achieves a high standard of excellence academically and in hockey. The Award is a one-time post-secondary educational scholarship of $2,000 provided by the GTHL.

Len Barrett was the GTHL Treasurer from 1975 to 1994 and was made an honorary Life Member of the GTHL in 1995. He was deemed the father the GTHL’s modern accounting system. Len’s leadership skills were acknowledged well beyond the GTHL, as he was also the first treasurer of the Ontario Hockey Federation.

Eligibility: 
Any registered U18 House League player in the 2025-26 season from the GTHL or Mississauga Hockey League can apply and/or be nominated.
