GTHL announces 2024 Top Prospects, ticket information in Selection Show fuelled by Gatorade

The Greater Toronto Hockey League announced today the 2024 GTHL Top Prospects in a selection show fuelled by Gatorade. The selection show featured the top 40 GTHL Under-16 ‘AAA’ players named to the prestigious game, taking place on January 17, 2024 at Herb H. Carnegie Centennial Centre. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30PM EST, with doors opening at 6:30PM.

New colours and new teams are introduced in 2024, with the emergence of Team Blue and Team Red. The rosters – including two goaltenders, six defencemen, and 12 forwards on each team – span seven GTHL clubs, with the Toronto Marlboros leading the way with 10 selections. The Toronto Jr. Canadians and Vaughan Kings are tied with eight players each, while the North York Rangers see six players selected. The Mississauga Rebels and the Markham Majors round out the selections with five and three players respectively.

On the bench, Team Blue will include Toronto Marlboros’ Head Coach Richard Power and Trainer Breanne Norris. Team Red will include Vaughan Kings’ Head Coach Daniel Sisca and Trainer Bryan Ma.

The celebrity coaches who will take part in the 2024 GTHL Top Prospects Game fuelled by Gatorade will be announced at a later date.
