GTHL announces 2024 U18 ‘AA’ All-Stars fuelled by Gatorade

The Greater Toronto Hockey League announced today the Under-18 ‘AA’ All-Star selections for the 2024 U18 ‘AA’ All-Star Game fuelled by Gatorade on Saturday, January 27 at 1:00PM. The game will be one of three match-ups featured across the U18 All-Star Festival fuelled by Gatorade at Scotiabank Pond.  

Announced on December 13, the U18 ‘A’ All-Star Game will take place in the morning of January 27 at 10:00AM, with the U18 ‘AA’ All-Stars taking to the ice for a matinee match-up afterwards. The U18 ‘AAA’ All-Star Game will close out the 2024 festival at 4:00PM. All games will take place on Rink 1 of Scotiabank Pond. Admission to the games will be free of charge.  

The U18 ‘AA’ All-Star rosters include three goaltenders, six defensemen, and 12 forwards for a total of 42 players selected through a submission process from coaches in the division.  

The coaches and trainers were selected based on their team’s position in the League’s standings. With coaches from the top six teams, the benches have representation from the Greater Toronto Capitals, Markham Islanders, Mississauga Rattlers, Toronto Eagles, Toronto Royals, and the Toronto Shamrocks.

On Team Blue, the Greater Toronto Capitals and the Mississauga Rattlers lead the way with seven players each. The Toronto Royals add four to the roster, while the Vaughan Rangers round out the 21 players with three. 

The Markham Islanders and the Toronto Eagles top the list with seven players each on Team Red. The Toronto Shamrocks have four players featured, with the Duffield Devils adding three.
