GTHL to hold Indigenous Hockey Equipment Drive January 27-28 at Scotiabank Pond

The Greater Toronto Hockey League will be holding an Indigenous Hockey Equipment Drive in support of Indigenous youth in Ontario the weekend of January 27-28 at Scotiabank Pond. The equipment drive will be in conjunction with the League’s Under-18 All-Star and I Play in the G Festivals fuelled by Gatorade.

Equipment will be collected on Saturday between 9:00am-4:00pm, and Sunday between 9:00am-2:00pm. Individuals looking to donate will find the Indigenous Hockey Equipment Drive under the Scotiabank sign in the lobby of Scotiabank Pond.

For those able to donate, please review the items being accepted below:

ACCEPTED: 

  • Hockey Sticks
  • Shin pads
  • Pants
  • Shoulder pads
  • Skates
  • Elbow pads
  • Gloves
  • Helmets
  • Bags

NOT ACCEPTED: 

  • Undergarments
  • Socks and jerseys
  • Jocks
  • Neck guards
  • Goalie equipment
