Mississauga Rattlers goaltender tops national October Saves Goalie Challenge for second straight season

Jacen Craig, Under-14 ‘AA’ Mississauga Rattlers goaltender, has finished atop the national standings of the October Saves Goalie Challenge for the second season in a row. Choosing to stop pucks to stop cancer, Craig raised $6083 – almost doubling his 2021-22 season total raised of $3431.

Jacen’s dad, Lee, served as the original inspiration behind joining the challenge as he fought his own battle with cancer. Now, Lee is very much still the inspiration – but with a happy and healthy twist.

“My dad is now 100 per cent cancer free,” Jacen’s October Saves page shared. “I want other people to be able to say that.”
