Platinum Cup tournament to feature inaugural Maple Leafs Alumni vs. Toronto First Responders Game

The Greater Toronto Hockey League and the Toronto Maple Leafs are proud to host the inaugural Maple Leafs Alumni versus Toronto First Responders Game. As part of the 2023 Platinum Cup tournament festivities, Leafs alumni will take to the ice to face-off against local first responders at Scotiabank Pond (Rink 1) on Saturday, November 25.

Leafs alumni taking to the ice will include Wendel Clark, Steve Thomas, Gary Leeman, and Rick Vaive, with more to be announced!

The pre-game warm-up will begin at 2:40pm, with puck drop at 3:10pm. The event is open to the public with free admission.

There will be an autograph session available following the game.

The Platinum Cup powered by the Toronto Maple Leafs and GTHL plays host to 24 total teams across three (3) U11 Divisions: U11 A, U11 AA, and U11 AAA. Divisions will be comprised of eight teams in each making up the 24-team tournament. The tournament takes place at Scotiabank Pond from November 24-26.
